Swami Rizzi, a 19-year-old Mexican athlete, will compete in the 2024 Red Bull BC One World Final in Brazil following a remarkable year in breaking with multiple podium finishes.
The national breaking athlete will conclude her competitive year by participating in the Red Bull BC One World Final on December 7 at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Originally from Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Swami aims to add another medal to her record this year. She expressed her readiness to face the top competitors in this international event, the most prestigious in breaking.
“Each year I aim for improvement. This 2024 was better than 2023; I surpass myself every time. I was on the podium about 10 times this year, represented Mexico well, and won several national competitions that will take me to international events in 2025,” she stated.
“This upcoming competition means a lot to me, and I am happy to represent Mexico again and compete against the world’s best. I love this excitement and feel triple-ready to perform well,” added ‘B-girl Swami,’ a three-time CONADE Nationals champion.

As the sole representative of Red Bull Mexico in this discipline, Swami trained at the National Center for Talent Development and High Performance Sports (CNAR) in preparation for the pre-Olympic tournaments in Shanghai and Budapest. Although she did not qualify for Paris 2024, she highlighted CNAR’s support in facing future challenges in her career.
“I love being able to connect and stay close to people passionate about sports, always willing to support and recognize athletes’ talent and effort. It’s very encouraging, not just for me but also as an example for new generations,” she said.
