Antonio Pérez Garibay, father of Sergio “Checo” Pérez, spoke about his son’s exit from Red Bull, stating that this marks his “complete retirement” from Formula 1. In an interview, he explained that there is no “Plan B or C” for the driver, considering this the end of his time in the premier motorsport category. He recalled that in the past, “Checo” was also close to retirement when he was let go by Racing Point, but an opportunity arose to join Red Bull. Although “Checo” has not officially confirmed his retirement, his father advised him to focus on enjoying time with his family.
