JOEY LOGANO CONSIGUIÓN SU PRIMERA VICTORIA EN NASCAR

JOEY LOGANO GETS HIS FIRST WIN IN NASCAR

Joey Logano earned his first victory of the Nascar Cup season. After a crash-filled race in Texas, Logano managed to position himself in the lead during the final laps to win. In a chaotic race in Texas, Joey Logano, with his #22 Ford, managed to avoid the wave of yellow flags to claim his first NASCAR Cup Series win of the season, this at Texas Motor Speedway. In a crash-filled race, Joey Logano overcame the chaos Undoubtedly, things went well for Logano, as after starting in 27th position, the frequent yellow flags throughout the 271 laps allowed Joey to lead the race for just 7 laps and win in overtime. With this, Joey achieved his first Top 5 and Top 10 finishes in the 11 races so far this season. Completing the podium spots, Ross Chastain finished second, and Ryan Blaney rounded out the podium in Texas. In the Top 5, Kyle Larson came in fourth, and Erik Jones crossed the finish line in fifth place. No changes in the Driver Standings Meanwhile, there were no major changes in the driver standings, as the top four spots remained the same, with William Byron leading with 421 points. Second place belongs to Kyle Larson with 408, Denny Hamlin is third with 338, and Chase Elliott is fourth, also with 338 but with fewer Stage points than Hamlin. For his part, this weekend’s winner, Joey Logano, climbed two positions, now ranking ninth in the competition. Cover photo: X (@NASCAR)

DANIEL SUÁREZ SHINES AT TALLADEGA

CLIMBS TO NINTH PLACE IN A RACE MARKED BY CHAOS AND DETERMINATION 💥🏁 Daniel Suárez once again proved why he’s one of the most consistent and tenacious drivers in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. The Mexican, behind the wheel of the #99 Trackhouse Racing car, delivered a memorable performance at the Talladega Superspeedway, where he originally crossed the finish line in 11th place, but after post-race disqualifications, moved up to an official ninth-place finish 🔥🇲🇽 The tenth round of the championship wasn’t easy for anyone. Talladega, with its 2.66-mile (4.27-kilometer) layout, is known for its extreme speeds and countless race-day variables. Starting from 24th on the grid, Suárez faced a serious challenge at one of the most unpredictable tracks on the calendar. But the Monterrey native quickly showed his racecraft 🐍, steadily climbing the ranks with smart moves and controlled aggression. Suárez’s brightest moment came during Stage 2, when he emerged as the outright race leader, sparking hopes of an even bigger achievement. While he didn’t hold the lead for many laps, it set the tone for an intense afternoon battling among the best. However, a costly pit road mistake — overshooting his pit box — dropped him to 32nd just as Stage 2 came to a close. It was a bitter setback, but not the end of his story in Alabama 😤⛽ With an unbreakable spirit, Daniel went all in during the final stage, determined to turn the tide. He took full advantage of the #99’s solid handling and the surprising absence of “The Big One” — a rarity at Talladega — to steadily move forward. In the final 10 laps, he was knocking on the door of the top 10, running 12th as the checkered flag approached. In a wild final lap, Suárez crossed the line in 11th place, but the final word had yet to be written 📉🔧 Hours later, NASCAR announced the disqualifications of Joey Logano and Ryan Preece, who had finished ahead of Suárez, due to technical violations discovered during post-race inspection. This bumped Suárez up to ninth, earning him crucial championship points and reinforcing his consistent form in a season that still holds plenty of promise 📈✅ The result not only boosts his stats but also strengthens his role within Trackhouse Racing, keeping him in the conversation as one of the drivers to watch in the upper-mid tier of the standings. Suárez has shown maturity, resilience, and grit — key ingredients for what lies ahead on the calendar. 📍 The action doesn’t stop, and the next challenge is already on the radar: Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth will host Round 11 of the season on Sunday, May 4. It’s a fast, demanding track with history — and Daniel will be aiming to keep the momentum going as he edges closer to NASCAR’s elite.

Austin Cindric se llevó la victoria en Talladega

AUSTIN CINDRIC TOOK THE WIN IN TALLADEGA

With a photo finish and a crash-filled race, Austin Cindric claimed victory at the Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. In a race where accidents played a major role in the outcome, Austin Cindric, from Team Penske, won the Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama. With a photo finish, Cindric secured his third career win in the NASCAR Cup Series. Key crashes during the race During Stage 1 of the race, two accidents occurred that eliminated clear contenders for the victory at Talladega. The first came on lap 43, when at the pit entry zone there was contact between Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski, which also ended up impacting Ryan Blaney; because of this, both Keselowski and Blaney had to abandon the race due to the damage to their cars. It’s party time! 🎉 pic.twitter.com/f2Ona6vvBZ — NASCAR (@NASCAR) April 27, 2025   The next incident came on lap 52, when at that moment Christopher Bell and Chris Buescher were leading the race as first and second respectively. Bell suffered a very slight rear contact from Denny Hamlin, causing Bell to lose control of his car and go straight into Buescher, who was running on the inside lane, and both ultimately crashed into a protective wall due to the momentum, leaving them out of the competition. A very close finish For the race’s conclusion, Cindric took the lead, but with only thousandths of a second separating him from second place, giving us a final lap where there was a battle between the #2 car and Ryan Preece in the #60 car, with the two drivers exchanging the lead at every turn until reaching the finish line, where Cindric edged ahead by 0.022 seconds to win the race.

Prime Sports dominated Puebla

With Mateo Girón claiming both victories this weekend in Trucks, and Xavi Razo dominating the NASCAR México Series, Prime Sports Racing Team reigned supreme at the Autódromo Miguel E. Abed. The action came to a close in both the NASCAR México Series and the Trucks México Series, following a thrilling showdown in the Commscope 200 Puebla and a spectacular double-header in Trucks. There was no question which team owned the weekend: Prime Sports Racing Team. Xavi Razo, driving car #7, took victory in the main event, while Mateo Girón, behind the wheel of truck #5, stole the spotlight with back-to-back wins. “The Wonder Kid” Mateo Girón Starting with Rounds 3 and 4 of the Trucks México Series, both races had one standout name: Mateo Girón. The driver from Zacatecas arrived at the Autódromo Miguel E. Abed already holding two wins this season, and on Saturday, after qualifying second, it only took a few laps and a couple of yellow flags for Girón to seize the lead and secure his third consecutive victory. In that race, Edwin Arenas defended his second-place position excellently, while Valeria Aranda, showcasing strong technique over the 40 laps, completed the Top 3. But Mateo’s weekend heroics didn’t end there. On Sunday, with the Top 10 grid reversed based on Saturday’s results, truck #5 started from 10th place. Girón’s sharp technique and aggressive driving allowed him to climb through the pack, just like the day before, ultimately capturing his fourth win in a row. He now leads the Trucks México Series drivers’ standings. In Sunday’s race, Santiago Cruz claimed second place, with Roberto Espinosa rounding out the Top 3. Lucky Number 7: Xavi Razo unstoppable in Puebla Turning to the main event of NASCAR México, the 75 laps around the Miguel E. Abed circuit were electric. Right from the start, the duel between Alex de Alba, who had earned pole position, and Xavi Razo, who started third but quickly moved into second, was captivating. It was on lap 17 when Razo overtook De Alba and claimed the lead. Driving car #7, Razo kept battling for the top spot, and after the stage break, thanks to a superb job by his pit crew, he solidified his lead and never looked back. He crossed the finish line to take his first victory of the 2025 NASCAR México Series season, leaving Alex de Alba over three seconds behind in second place. Rookie Eloy Sebastián completed the podium in third. With this win, Xavi Razo now sits at the top of the standings. XAVI RAZO WANTS THE TOP SPOT 🏁🔥

CHASING VICTORY IN PUEBLA With a strong pace and the championship lead in his pocket, Xavi Razo is ready to take on Round 3 of the 2025 NASCAR México Series, which will be held this Sunday at the Autódromo Internacional Miguel E. Abed in Amozoc, Puebla—a track where the Mexico City driver has already written memorable chapters in past seasons. With 88 pointscollected over the first two rounds, Razo knows the time to land the decisive blow is closer than ever 📈🏆 DOMINATING WITH RESULTS AND EXPERIENCE 🎯 It’s been a strong start to the season for the No. 7 car. A second-place finish in San Luis Potosí followed by a third placein Tuxtla Gutiérrez are solid credentials heading into a track he knows inside and out. But beyond the numbers, it’s his consistent performance that positions him as one of the top favorites to stand on the top step of the podium this weekend 🚗💨 “WE ALREADY KNOW HOW TO WIN HERE” 🧠💪 For Xavi, racing in Puebla is no small thing. “I really like this track, I have great memories here. I’ve already won on this circuit—not just in NASCAR México, but in other categories too. Coming back is always special,” he shared with a mix of nostalgia and ambition. Razo, who was the regular season champion in 2024, arrives with a clear mindset: take advantage of his technical knowledge and the strong momentum of his team 🔧🏎️ COMMUNICATION IS KEY ON TRACK 🛠️📡 One of the keys to his performance has been the almost surgical connection with his engineer. “What we have between driver and engineer isn’t something you can fake. In Tuxtla, we had the pace to win. Unfortunately, an outside decision—a misapplied rule—prevented us from going all in,” he explained. Still, he’s confident that their teamwork will get them back to where they belong: the front 👊⏱️ NUMBERS BACK HIM UP 📊🏁 After two rounds, the Mexico City driver leads the championship with 88 points, the result of consistency and smart driving. The Puebla race is scheduled for 75 laps or 100 minutes, whichever comes first, demanding a balanced mix of aggression and strategy—something Razo excels at 🧩🧠 STRUCTURAL SUPPORT BEHIND THE WHEEL 🤝🚛 Xavi Razo’s performance wouldn’t be possible without the backing of a solid team. The No. 7 car is supported by brands fully committed to motorsports: Solucion.es, GSC, B Lock Media, Flex Seguridad, Armstrong Armored, Servicios Logísticos Palco, Intercash, Grupo Catraar, Orpack, Compresores y Herramientas Carroll, Pup Care, Palco Consorcio de Comercio Internacional, Dycinsa, Batalion Seguridad Privada, Toro Presto, BYM Industrial, Marketing & Advertising—all under the competitive umbrella of Prime Sports Racing Team 🚀⚙️ CLEAR GOAL: WIN 🏆🚦 The third race of the season is a golden opportunity for Razo to strengthen his lead with a win that has so far slipped away due to factors beyond his control. But if there’s one thing this driver has shown, it’s that he never backs down. Puebla is waiting, the track knows him, and the championship is starting to take shape. The question is: can anyone stop car No. 7 this weekend? 😤🔥
