Recognized for its Social Impact
The Formula 1 Mexico City Grand Prix has been awarded the Victory Prize Mexico 2024 in the «Passion Wave» category, honoring its transformative impact as a sporting phenomenon that turned the sport into a social trend this year.
Organized by FcoGroup for the first time, the Victory Prize acknowledges Mexican sports organizations and figures who transcend competition, inspiring and changing lives through their passion and talent.
Federico González Compeán, General Director of the Mexico GP, shared:
«We are deeply honored to receive this recognition. The heart of our event is our fans, and awards like this reflect the hard work of our entire team. This prize motivates us to exceed expectations for our next edition, where we’ll celebrate the Grand Prix’s tenth anniversary.»
This award joins a series of honors positioning the Mexico GP as one of the best sporting events globally: Best Event of the Year by the FIA for five consecutive years, Environmental Accreditation Star from the FIA, and Gold Distinction at the 2024 Eventex Awards.
More than just a sports spectacle, the Mexico GP aims for global impact. By offering a unique fan experience, it has become a benchmark in the entertainment and sports industries. The organization reaffirms its commitment to innovation and excellence, ensuring that Mexico remains a top-tier destination for world-class events.
