The Josh Allen-Khalil Shakir duo is here to stay in Buffalo, as the AFC’s second-best team has locked in their wide receiver for four more years, extending his contract until 2029 for a total of $60.2 million. The 25-year-old joined the Bills through the 2022 NFL Draft and has since become one of Allen’s favorite targets in Buffalo’s offense.
Shakir’s Numbers Speak for Themselves
With an impressive 125 receptions, 1,593 yards, and 7 touchdowns, Shakir ranked just behind Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, both of whom left during the latest free agency period. This made him Buffalo’s leading receiver in 2024, finishing the season with 76 receptions, 821 yards, and 4 touchdowns.
His outstanding performance left no doubt in Buffalo’s front office, prompting them to extend his contract before it expired this year, securing him through 2029.
