After three months of being out of the tennis courts due to the doping problem in which she was involved, where it was proved that she accidentally consumed trimetazidine, a banned substance; Iga Swiatek returned to a competition, the United Cup, representing her country, Poland. Swiatek played the second point of the series against British Katie Boulter, whom she managed to defeat in three sets by a score of 6-7, 6-1 and 6-4 to give Poland the pass to the semifinals of the tournament, where they will face Kazakhstan, team that defeated the previous champions, Germany.
