Abandoned the 49ers’ ship, San Francisco 49ers linebacker De’Vondre Campbell was suspended from the team for three games, due to the player’s refusal to take the field in the game against the Los Angeles Rams. After his decision, Campbell even left the field. For this attitude, the team devised a suspension to punish his “selfish” decision and that the player could not seek activity with another team, this culminated in a three-game suspension, where although the 49ers are not mathematically eliminated yet, these three games may very well be the last for the San Francisco team.
For all this, the coach of the 49ers, commented that “his actions in the game are not something you can do to your team or your teammates and still expect to be part of our team”.
