The Súper Óvalo Potosino witnessed a perfect weekend for Mateo Girón, who claimed a dominant victory in the first round of the Trucks México Series 2025. The Zacatecas native led every session and sealed his performance with a great win, reaffirming his status as one of the drivers to watch this year.

The driver of truck #5, backed by Dibagsa, PupCare, Vortex Cargo, PET de Occidente, CST Concepto Solución Total, Armstrong Armored, Solucion.es GSC, Grupo Catraar, BLock Media Systems, Atunsito, Cohidsa, Grupo Elektra, Palco Logística, Kontek de México, and M&A, was the fastest in practice, secured pole position, and conquered the race 🏁.
“It was an amazing weekend. From the start, we felt strong and consistent. The team did an excellent job, giving me a fast and well-balanced truck. We managed it patiently in a race full of yellow flags 🚩, and in the end, we took the victory,”said Girón.

The heat at the San Luis Potosí track ☀️ was not only felt in the air but also in the competition, where Mateo Girónfaced strong resistance from his rivals, especially “Chispa” Rodríguez, who made things difficult until the final laps.
“The pressure kept building, time was running out ⏳, and we knew we had to make the best decision. ‘Chispa’ defended really well, but we found the right moment to make the pass and accomplish our main goal: winning 🏆,” emphasized the Prime Sports Racing Team driver.
