FERRARI: A STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

FERRARI TO SUPPLY ENGINES TO GM/CADILLAC F1 FROM 2026

The Italian manufacturer reaffirms its presence in Formula 1 with a key agreement for General Motors and Cadillac’s new team. A MAJOR STEP FOR GM/CADILLAC IN F1 Ferrari officially announced that it will supply power units and gearboxes to the GM/Cadillac F1 team starting from the 2026 season. This agreement marks a significant milestone for General Motors, which aims to join the Formula 1 World Championship as the eleventh team, pending approval from the FIA and championship organizers. The announcement follows months of speculation and comes after Formula 1 provisionally endorsed Cadillac’s entry into the grid in November. Earlier in December, Graeme Lowdon, former sporting director of Marussia, was appointed to lead the project. FERRARI: A STRATEGIC ALLIANCE Ferrari’s director, Fred Vasseur, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing the growing popularity of Formula 1 in the United States: “It’s exciting to see the commitment of a new American team backed by such an iconic brand as Cadillac. This alliance ensures that we will continue working with two ‘customer teams,’ which drives technical development within Ferrari.” Ferrari currently collaborates with other customer teams, a model that not only strengthens its position on the grid but also allows for data sharing and optimization of its technology development. GM/CADILLAC: AN AMBITIOUS UNDERTAKING Graeme Lowdon, leader of the GM/Cadillac F1 project, welcomed the decision to partner with Ferrari as their technical supplier. In his words: “Choosing the partner for our power unit was crucial, and Ferrari meets our expectations thanks to its excellence, passion, and unique capabilities.” The Cadillac team aims to leverage the prestige of both brands to establish a successful entry into the pinnacle of motorsport. A PROMISING FUTURE FOR F1 IN THE UNITED STATES The addition of Cadillac to Formula 1 aligns with a significant surge in the sport’s popularity in the United States, fueled by new events and a growing audience. This project strengthens the presence of North American teams and promises a positive impact on both the competition and its fan base. With this agreement, Ferrari showcases its ability to remain a cornerstone of technical development in Formula 1, while Cadillac takes its first steps toward a future that could reshape the grid dynamics. Could this partnership become a turning point in the recent history of the category?

Bengals superó a los Cowboys que se caen a pedazos

Bengals overcame the Cowboys who are falling apart

The Cincinnati Bengals went into the Dallas Cowboy’s house to win by a score of 27-20, in a game where a grotesque mistake by the Cowboys defined the game. The game was even throughout, every time one team got a slight advantage, the other team soon tied the scoreboard, but it was on the last play where the Cowboy special teams made an inexplicable mistake. On a Bengals kickoff return, Cowboys managed to block it, the ball bounced into the zone of a Dallas player who wanted to keep the ovoid, but it slipped between his arms and the Bengals thus recovered the attack at the 43-yard line; this play meant Cincinnati’s last attack that gave them the win by seven points. McLaren consiguió el campeonato de constructores en F1

McLaren Secures the Constructors’ Championship in F1

McLaren won the 2024 F1 Constructors’ Championship, their first in 26 years, with Lando Norris clinching victory in Abu Dhabi. They surpassed Ferrari and broke the 14-year dominance of Red Bull and Mercedes. The 2024 Formula 1 season has come to an end. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix marked the final race of the calendar, and Lando Norris’s victory not only sealed the event but also delivered McLaren its first Constructors’ Championship in 26 years. While Norris’s individual victory was symbolic, given that Max Verstappen had already secured the Drivers’ Championship at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the triumph was celebrated by the entire McLaren team. It marked the end of a title drought that had lasted since 1998. McLaren Ends Red Bull and Mercedes Dominance This championship put an end to the dominance Red Bull and Mercedes had held in Formula 1 since 2010. During this 14-year period, Mercedes won eight consecutive titles (from 2014 to 2021), while Red Bull claimed six titles (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2022, and 2023). McLaren earned their ninth Constructors’ Championship, tying with Williams for second place in the historical standings, though still far behind Ferrari, which holds the record with 16 championships. Ferrari Came Close Ferrari, McLaren’s direct rivals, gave a strong fight. In the final Grand Prix of 2024, Carlos Sainz finished second and Charles Leclerc third, completing the podium. Despite their efforts, the British team finished first in the standings with 666 points, while Ferrari ended the season with 652 points. The Moment That Changed the Season There’s no doubt that McLaren’s performance this season was a surprise. At the start of the year, they were not considered contenders for the championship. However, everything changed at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where the strong performances of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, combined with Red Bull’s poor results, allowed McLaren to take the lead in the Constructors’ standings—a position they never relinquished.
