Pese al triple doble de LeBon, Lakers perdieron frente a Hawks

Despite LeBon’s triple double, Lakers lose to Hawks

Los Angeles Lakers’ star, LeBron James, had a great performance in the game against Atlanta Hawks. With 39 points, 19 rebounds and 11 assists, LeBron had a triple double that seemed to put his team on the road to victory, but unfortunately for him, a basket by Trae Young ruined his great night, because with 7 seconds left on the clock, the Hawks player scored a three-pointer to leave the game 134-132 in favor of the Atlanta Hawks, the Hawks player scored a triple to leave the game 134-132 in favor of Atlanta, giving the Lakers their third consecutive loss, although this time, the difference in the scoreboard was not so abrupt compared to their defeats against the Timberwolves and the Heat. With this loss, the Angelenos add a streak of 12-11, while the Hawks reached 13 wins and 11 losses. You may be interested in: ¡Histórico! The tournament, featuring a new format, highlights competitive groups like Group B, dubbed the “Group of Death,” and powerhouses such as Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich. The champions of football across five continents are set for battle. The draw, held in Miami, determined the opponents for each team in the first phase of the expanded tournament, which will be hosted in the United States. The 32 teams are divided into eight groups of four, with the top two from each group advancing to the knockout stage. Group A This group promises a tightly contested phase as Palmeiras (2021 Copa Libertadores champions), Porto (UEFA ranking qualifier), Al-Ahly (CAF Champions League three-time winners), and Inter Miami (host nation’s invitee) face off. Zack Martin, muy cerca de su retiro por lesión

Zack Martin, very close to retirement due to injury

The Dallas Cowboys added another piece of bad news to their current campaign, since their guard, considered one of the best in the history of the NFL, Zack Martin, is considering the possibility of retiring. This situation occurred because Martin will undergo surgery on his ankle, which will mean the third intervention on his ankle. As he is already considered a veteran, since the guard is 34 years old, it looks closer his retirement from the gridiron than a return to it, so the Cowboys would undoubtedly lose a key element of their defensive line. Nueva derrota, Athletic Club superó al Real Madrid

Another Defeat: Athletic Club Beats Real Madrid

Real Madrid missed a key opportunity to close the gap on Barcelona. With a missed penalty by Kylian Mbappé and a costly error from Fede Valverde, the Merengues fell 2-1 to Athletic Club in San Mamés. The match began evenly, with Madrid creating the first real chance. In the 12th minute, Rodrygo entered the box and attempted to cut inside but lost the ball to a defender. Fran García recovered it and took a shot, which deflected to Mbappé, who scored. However, the goal was ruled out for offside. Moments later, Rodrygo’s earlier challenge was reviewed by VAR for a possible penalty, but no foul was called. Athletic Strikes First The first half ended scoreless, but in the 53rd minute, Álex Berenguer broke the deadlock. A rebound from Thibaut Courtois, who reacted well to a cross-shot, fell perfectly to Berenguer, who calmly slotted it into the net. Mbappé Misses Another Penalty Madrid had their chance to equalize in the 66th minute when Julen Agirrezabala collided with Antonio Rüdiger during a free-kick, earning Madrid a penalty. However, for the second game in a row, Mbappé failed to convert from the spot. The Frenchman partially redeemed himself in the 78th minute, unleashing a powerful shot that the goalkeeper could only parry. Jude Bellingham was there to tap in the rebound and level the score at 1-1.   A Costly Mistake Just two minutes later, a defensive lapse sealed Madrid’s fate. Federico Valverde, under light pressure, mishit a pass that landed at the feet of Gorka Guruzeta. Guruzeta charged towards the box and calmly beat Courtois to secure the win for Athletic. With this result, Real Madrid remains second in La Liga with 33 points, now four points behind Barcelona. Athletic Club climbs to fourth with 29 points. Images: X (@realmadrid) and X (@AthleticClub)

Partido con tintes de playoffs este Thursday Night

A Playoff-Like Game on Thursday Night

Thursday Night Football in Week 14 brings an exciting matchup between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers, both teams fighting for playoff spots and the Divisional Championship. The Lions are aiming to secure their title for the second consecutive year. The start of Week 14 will deliver a thrilling game as the Detroit Lions host the Green Bay Packers, two teams battling directly for a spot in the playoffs. NFC North Showdown The NFC North will feature a crucial clash today, as the division leaders, the Lions, remain the best team in the NFC with an impressive 11-1 record. Meanwhile, the Packers, despite a solid 9-3 record, are in third place in the division, behind the Vikings, who at 10-2 are also making a push for the playoffs. In this game, not only is a playoff spot at stake, though that is the biggest reward, but also the Divisional Championship. If the Lions win, they would almost secure this title, which would mark their second consecutive division championship. They would also join the Chiefs and Bills as teams that have already secured a postseason spot. However, Green Bay won’t make it easy, and if they secure the win, the Packers will close the gap for the Divisional Championship. If the Lions lose, attention will turn to the Vikings’ game against the Falcons for further playoff implications.
