In a chaotic race in Texas, Joey Logano, with his #22 Ford, managed to avoid the wave of yellow flags to claim his first NASCAR Cup Series win of the season, this at Texas Motor Speedway.

In a crash-filled race, Joey Logano overcame the chaos
Undoubtedly, things went well for Logano, as after starting in 27th position, the frequent yellow flags throughout the 271 laps allowed Joey to lead the race for just 7 laps and win in overtime. With this, Joey achieved his first Top 5 and Top 10 finishes in the 11 races so far this season.

Completing the podium spots, Ross Chastain finished second, and Ryan Blaney rounded out the podium in Texas. In the Top 5, Kyle Larson came in fourth, and Erik Jones crossed the finish line in fifth place.
No changes in the Driver Standings
Meanwhile, there were no major changes in the driver standings, as the top four spots remained the same, with William Byron leading with 421 points. Second place belongs to Kyle Larson with 408, Denny Hamlin is third with 338, and Chase Elliott is fourth, also with 338 but with fewer Stage points than Hamlin.
For his part, this weekend’s winner, Joey Logano, climbed two positions, now ranking ninth in the competition.
