The start of the 2025 NASCAR México season is just around the corner, and one of the most talked-about names on the grid is Xavi Razo. After a spectacular 2024 campaign, where he dominated the regular season, the Prime Sports driver is determined to crown himself as the outright champion of the series.

The 2025 season will kick off on March 2 at the Súper Óvalo Potosino, a track where Razo has yet to reach the top step of the podium. “It’s a short and very demanding track where contact is inevitable. Last year, a penalty that I considered unfair took the victory away from me, so this year, I want redemption,” he commented.

One of the most anticipated events of the year is the arrival of the NASCAR Cup Series in Mexico, something Razo is highly excited about. “It will be spectacular because their show is even bigger than Formula 1’s. I have no doubt that over 50 haulers will come from the U.S. with all their equipment,” he stated.
Additionally, Razo revealed that he is seeking an opportunity to race in NASCAR Xfinity when the series visits the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. However, he clarified that his participation will depend on sponsorships.
