NEW RULES FOR THE 2025 SEASON
With the goal of ensuring a more balanced and thrilling competition, TCR México has announced the implementation of the innovative RANKED DRIVERS system for the 2025 season. This new format aims to level the playing field, allowing each team to register only ONE (1) of these drivers per car at each event.
🔹 HOW THE RANKED DRIVERS SYSTEM WORKS
An updated list featuring the names of the drivers included in this system will be published monthly, enabling teams to plan their lineups strategically. For the start of the 2025 season, the criteria to qualify as a RANKED DRIVER are as follows:
🌟 ACTIVE DRIVERS OR RECENTLY EXPERIENCED COMPETITORS
Drivers who have competed in at least ONE (1) event in the past THREE (3) years in any of the following top-tier international categories will be considered:
- Formula 1 🏎️
- IndyCar 🏋️
- TCR World Tour 🚗
- NASCAR Cup Series 🌟
- WEC (World Endurance Championship) ⚡
- IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 🚨
🏆 DRIVERS WITH OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE IN 2025
Drivers who finish in the Top 10 of the 2025 season in the following categories will also be included:
- TCR Italy 🇮🇹
- TCR UK 🇬🇧
- TCR Germany 🇩🇪
- TCR Spain 🇪🇸
- IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GT 🚤
- IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge TCR 🚙
- NASCAR Xfinity Series 🏎️
🚀 ELITE DRIVERS IN TCR AND NASCAR SERIES
Additionally, drivers who finish in the TOP 5 of any TCR series worldwide and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series🏍️ will be considered RANKED DRIVERS.
